WELCOME!
Yo, I'm RTwo(AKA CaffinatedCorivd, Cryptid, etc), and this is my site, the Cryptid Keyboard Club!
 This site exists for lots of reasons, a place for self-expression through writing, a place to inform, a place to form communitity, a place to yap about myself/my intrests, and a place to just dick around in general. This website can/will contain material and vocabulary that would be deemed non-advertiser-friendly on corporate media, and rated around M for Mature according ESRB, so don't complain that I didn't warn you. Now, with the formalities out of the way, take a look around! Read some of my ramblings in my blog! Read some of my short stories and other written works in the Corvid's Roost! And do whatever else you can on this site without breaking it!
Why build this site you ask?
To keep it short, I fuckin hate Mark Zuckerburg and other corpo social media barons.
To make it long however, I ran across OnionBoots' YouTube video about the indie web in Feburary of 2026, and given the early 2000s online culture fascinated cryptid that I am I immediately started planning out a site via Milanote and then embarked on this endeavour! My goals and ambitions are certainly above my paygrade and skill as I write this and as I planned it, but hopefully working on this site will fix this. Those goals being making this site somewhere to share my written works I do for fun (Granted this site will dig into my time I use for that), shout my frustrations and philosophies into the endlessly deep and dark woods we call the internet, and yap about silly crap I love in a hopefully consumable manner.
Site Guide
Homepage --This is where you are right now. This conists of the site updates, links out, the link in, all this random info, a chatroom(WIP), and probably some other crap? About Me -- A hole for a self centered narcicist! Or at least thats what I probably think of it. This is where you can stalk me and learn more about me than you should know. Blog -- This is my corner to just yap words into the woods as previously mentioned. If you're bored and want to read about anything from why I love some dumbass FPS game too much, to "The unoiled beaucratic machine is leading to the fall of man". Corvid's Roost -- Words are cool, I like them a lot. Put together a ton you make a story, article, etc. This is where I put the more thought through writing, I commonly focus on cyberpunk or military fiction but theres probably going to be some other intresting stuff there too. Guest Book -- Here you can write "I was here!". People like that sort of thing right? I do humbly request you don't have conversations in the book and instead use the chatroom for it. But if you have a message that needs to reach me putting it there is a pretty good idea, and if you need a response put your Discord or something in there. |
